Becky Woodbury
Recovery Specialist & Art Therapist
Becky Woodbury has dedicated her life to learning, teaching, and sharing practices that support creativity, health, and wellness. Having experienced the benefits of these practices herself, she is passionate about helping others access tools for healing and growth. Becky is a licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) in the State of Utah and has worked successfully with adolescents and adults for over 20 years. Her professional experience includes individual and group counseling, recovery support, and leading parenting workshops in the local community for more than a decade. She has worked with clients across a wide range of settings, including those who are self-referred, court-mandated, or in residential treatment programs. Alongside her counseling work, Becky has been practicing Art Therapy for the past 20 years. A pivotal experience leading a teen art group inspired her to formally study art therapy, and since then, she has trained with international art therapy practitioners and leaders in the field. Becky has guided hundreds of clients in using creative, experiential art processes to uncover insights, build resilience, and connect with a more authentic sense of self. In addition to her therapeutic practice, Becky is trained and active in the Change Leader Program, an affiliated program of the Utah State Division of Arts and Museums. She is deeply engaged in her community through local arts groups and service opportunities. Throughout her life, Becky has continued to study and practice across many facets of the arts and wellness modalities. She believes that creativity and therapeutic practices are powerful tools for healing, and her purpose is to share those experiences to support others on their own journeys.
